Remodel Areas Large or Small

Our Remodeling service is designed for those homeowners who want to renovate rather than build from scratch. This may include "sprucing up" an area without a lot of structural changes, such as adding moldings, skim coating existing walls, or even changing bathroom fixtures. But we are also great with finishing basements and attics to add living space, as well as gutting a room to the studs and rebuilding from the outside in.

Estimates are always free, and we will work with you to determine the best solution to meet your desired result. Sometimes we make suggestions that actually reduce the overall cost of the project. If you are "stuck" in the design phase and don't know the best approach to your project, we can offer creative solutions. Throughout every project we want the homeowner to play an active role in the remodel, and if you have any questions during the project, we are happy to answer them.

Sometimes, as with any remodel project, we encounter unavoidable issues. For example, a window needing replacement may be hiding wood rot that isn't visible until the old window is removed. An ongoing dialogue throughout the project ensures that any concerns or necessary changes to the work are addressed as they are identified, and that there are no surprises when the bill arrives. We consider each and every remodel project a partnership with the homeowner, and we will work closely with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the result.

We do much of the work outselves but sometimes we subcontract the specialized work out to subcontractors, most frequently plumbing and electrical. We only work with subcontractors who are fully licensed and insured, and we coordinate all work so that it fits into the overall plan and schedule. We will secure all the applicable permits and coordinate all inspections to ensure that all work is completed to the current building codes.
